Harriet’s House is a renovated and very well equipped traditional croft house, with a garden to the front and rear and ample parking. The house is yards from a vast, expansive beach on the on the islands atlantic coastline.  An ideal location for individuals or families wishing to access North Uist's beautiful beaches, trout filled lochs, moorland, hills, natural wildlife habitats, and a host of prehistoric sites of international significance. Harriet’s House is a 12 minute drive from the islands main ferry terminal at Lochmaddy. It's a mile from the local licenced grocery store - Bayhead Shop -  that stocks local meat, vegetables and baking - the shop also has a Post Office and petrol/diesel pumps.
